It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Athanasia Lyberopoulos (Worcester, Massachusetts), who passed away on April 4, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Athanasia departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Athanasia. Though Athanasia may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her brother Takis; and her cousin Eleni "Helen" Economou. She is survived by: her husband Teddy; her son Constantine "Dino"; her nephews, John and Philip Economou; her friends, Letta Markopoulos, Achilles and Elly Athanasiou; her sister Christina; and her nieces, Vicki and Eleni.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral (102 Russell St, Worcester, MA 01609).
