He was predeceased by: his parents, Phil Chates and Sally Chates. He is survived by: his wife Harriet; his sons, Seth and Ben; his daughter-in-law Athena; and his grandchildren, Dov and Caraline.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 29th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapel (475 Washington St, Canton, MA 02021). A shiva was held on Thursday, August 29th 2024 at 6:00 PM and on Friday, August 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
