She was predeceased by: her husband Felix Colon; her children, Miguel Colon, Ada Colon and Felix Colon; and her parents, Domingo Nieves and Aurea Borrero.
She is survived by: her children, Olga Colon (Sarrail Morales), Melanio Colon, Carmen (Michael Merzigian), Manuel Colon (Glennys Valenzuela) and Aurea I. Colon. She is also survived by ten brothers and sisters; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cathedral of Saint Paul.
