He was predeceased by: his siblings, Robert Burns, Jean Sutherby, Richard Burns, Nancy Bean, Pat McFaun, Paul Burns, Virginia Fitzgerald and Joan Burns.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne (Botelho); his child Lauren Gore (Billy) of Arlington; his sister Janet Slattery (late James Slattery); and his sisters-in-law, Emily Crowley, Connie Kvicala, Tina Costa and Irene Ponte. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
