He was predeceased by: his mother Shirley Garvey (Hughes); and his brother Gregory. He is survived by: his father Robert C. Garvey; his close friend Gary Huang (Linda Cangiano) of Woburn; his daughter Katherine; his son-in-law Barry McGonagle; his son Patrick Garvey; his grandchildren, James, Chloe and Adam McGonagle; and his siblings, David, Mary, Susan, Peter and Christopher.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home (29 Governors Ave, Medford, MA 02155). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (118 High St, Medford, MA 02155).
Memorial donations in Tim's name can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Easter Seals.
