He was predeceased by: his wife Mary E. Flaherty (Evangelista); his child Thomas Flaherty III; and his sisters, Elizabeth Galante and Barbara Doucette. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Flaherty-Vaughn of Enfield, CT; his granddaughter Jessica Vaughn of Enfield, CT.; his nephew George Doucette (Martha) of Bakersfield, CA; and his niece Karen Perriello (Louis).
