He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter McDonald and Helen McDonald (Forster); his mother-in-law Janice Porter; and his siblings-in-law, Thomas Porter and Lisa Porter.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Timothy McDonald of Woburn, Jamie McDonald of Bedford and Robert McDonald, Jr. of Bedford; his grandchildren, Layla McDonald and Makai Ramos; his siblings, Elizabeth McDonald of Pepperell, Thomas McDonald of Greenville, NH, Walter "Butchy" McDonald (Verla) of Quincy, IL, Karen McDonald (Mike) of Townsend, James McDonald of Billerica and Keith McDonald (Michelle) of Billerica; his father-in-law John F. Porter, Sr. of Billerica; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Porter (Julie) of Bedford, John Porter of Boston, Christopher Porter of Billerica, Theresa Ferri (Michael) of Billerica and Nancy Cavanaugh (David) of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home (43 Winn St, Burlington, MA 01803). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael's Church (90 Concord Rd, Bedford, MA 01730). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Westview Cemetery (520 Bedford St, Lexington, MA 02420).
