He is survived by: his wife Pamela Kahl; his son Robert; his friend Stephen Macomber; his brothers, Andrew Mech (Marguerite) and Timothy Mech (Heidi); his brother-in-law Brad Kahl; his nieces and nephews, Rebekah Mech, Stephen Mech, Stephanie Baker (Quinten) and Nathaniel Mech; and his great-nephew Henry Baker.
