He was predeceased by: his son Michael; and his parents, Francis McAdams and Elizabeth McAdams (Timmons). He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline A. "Jackie" McAdams (Johnson); his children, Alan McAdams (Valerie) and Michelle McCann (David) of Woburn; his grandchildren, Stephanie, William, Jacob, Harrison and Sophia; and his brothers, Daniel Gately (Brenda) of Woburn, George Gately (Patricia) of Woburn and Jerome Gately (Kathy). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Joe's memory to the American Diabetes Association.
