He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Sullivan and Martha Sullivan (Stanley); his sister Mary McElhiney (late Leo); and his nephew John McElhiney. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Thomas, Julie, Quinn and Gavin; his wife Patricia Varnum (Varnum); his daughters, Amy Gatchell (Scott) of Woburn and Kathleen Larkin (John) of Tewksbury; and his nephew Dennis McElhiney.
