She was predeceased by: her husband Richard H. "Dick" Skeffington; her son Richard H. Skeffington III (Marcia) of Woburn; her parents, John E. Lightbody and Hazel Lightbody (MacDonald); her siblings, Catherine Hoey, John Lightbody Jr. and Louis Lightbody; and her aunt Vivian Peck.
She is survived by: her children, Karen J. Lally (late Michael) of Woburn, Carol A. Skeffington of Woburn, Thomas M. Skeffington (Donna) of Woburn, Edward F. Skeffington (Tania) of Salem and Kathryn R. Lentini (Kevin) of Wells, ME.; her grandchildren, Kelliane Lally, Meredith Benoit, Michael Lally, Michaela Michaud, Melissa Walsh, Brian, Christopher, Eric Skeffington, Ashley, Bradley, Bailey, Tyler Skeffington, Kevin, Kyle, Kole Lentini, Jessica and Thomas Skeffington; and her pet Museum of Science. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home (263 Main St, Woburn, MA 01801). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Charles Church (280 Main St, Woburn, MA 01801).
