Helen M. (Higgins) Simonds Obituary

She was predeceased by: her husband George E. "Bud" Simonds; her brothers-in-law, Bob Simonds (Anne) of Woburn, Tom Simonds (Jean) of Woburn and James Simonds (Judy); her parents, Patrick Higgins and Nellie Higgins (Gargon); her brothers, Joseph Higgins (Lillian), Robert (Anne), George (Mary) and Edward Higgins; her parents-in-law, George and Mildred Simonds; her sister-in-law Anne Simonds (late Bob); and her sister Ann Hogan (late Dan).

She is survived by: her son David Simonds (Lorinda) of Billerica; her grandchildren, Kyle, Derek, Sarah, Katie, Noah and Tommy; her siblings-in-law, Jean Courtney (late Bill) of Woburn, Ronald Simonds (late Raoul Ajamil, Sr.) of Woburn and Dan Hogan; her children, Nancy Vadala (Michael) of North Reading, Julie Simonds of Woburn, Kathy Simonds of Billerica and Peter Simonds (Heather) of North Andover; and her siblings-in-law, Jean Simonds (late Tom) and Judy Simonds (late Jim). She is also survived by many godchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home (263 Main St, Woburn, MA 01801). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Anthony Church (851 Main St, Woburn, MA 01801).

In lieu of flowers, Remembrances may be made in Helen's honor to the Sisters of Notre Dame 30 Jeffreys Neck Rd., Ipswich, MA 01938.
