With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward J. Boyd Sr. of Woburn, Massachusetts, born in Brighton, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 7, 2024. He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon A. Boyd (Doherty); his son Edward John Boyd; his father Owen Boyd; his brother Robert D. Boyd; and his siblings-in-law, Colleen Pavone (John) of Lowell and David J. Doherty.
He is survived by: his children, Erica Dolloff of Beverly, Michael Boyd of Woburn and Danny Boyd (Melissa) of Woburn; his grandchildren, Brayden, Bryson and Sawyer Boyd; his mother Joan Boyd (Regan) of Woburn; his sister-in-law Frances Christo; his siblings, Patricia A. Evans (Jeffrey) of Methuen, John O. (Susan), David F. of Woburn, James M. (Leanne) of Chelmsford and Kenneth P. (Mindy) of Tyngsboro; and his brothers-in-law, Barry Doherty Jr. of Woburn, Paul Doherty (Lisa) of Stoneham, Robert Doherty of Southbridge and Timothy Doherty of New Orleans. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
