With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara J. (Hunt) Scalley of Woburn, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 30, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John F. Scalley; and her siblings, Bernard, Mary Clare, Margaret, Stella, Gerard and Eileen Hunt.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Flanders (late Donald) of Tewksbury, Martha Oates (late Myles) of Salsbury, Daniel "Danny" Scalley of Woburn, James Scalley (Karen) of Tewksbury, Mary Jean Murphy (David) of Billerica, Kathleen Viveiros (Charles) of Billerica and David Scalley (Judi) of Twin Mts., NH; and her siblings, Nancy McDevitt of Tewksbury and Dennis Hunt (Yvette) of Chelmsford.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home (263 Main St, Woburn, MA 01801). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Barbara's Parish (138 Cambridge Rd, Woburn, MA 01801).
