He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Gentile (Perrone); his father Joseph Gentile; his son David Gentile; and his sister Helen Demaggio. He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Gentile (Elaine) of Freedom, NH, Arthur Gentile Jr. of Billerica, Vincent Gentile (Kim) of Wilmington and Christopher Gentile (Carolyn) of Woburn; his grandchildren, Joseph, Matthew, Christopher, Andrea, Alicia, Brandon, Megan, Elizabeth and Arthur; his great grandchildren, Max, Aria and Giovanni; and his siblings, Rose DeVita, John and Joseph Gentile.
Visiting hours at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home will be held on Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Arthur's memory to the New England Shelter and Home for Veterans, 17 Court St., Boston, MA 02108.
