He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine M. McGinness (Mortimer) and Walter J. McGinness. He is survived by: his siblings, JoAnn M. Marshall (Dennis), Walter S. McGinness (Lois) and Edward J. McGinness (Dane); and also, Ellen, Bobby, Robert Joseph (R. J.), Colleen, Matt, Anna, Molly, Evie and Katie.
