He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace R. Deedy (McDonough) and John G. Deedy; his brothers, John, Edward and Justin; and his former wife Patricia Hersey Deedy.
He is survived by: his children, Kerin Green (Charlie), Sue Ellen Briggs (John), Thomas Deedy (Tara), Conal Deedy (Kara Harrington) and Jane Deedy; and his grandchildren, Patrick Deedy, Priscilla Zhang, Nicholas Briggs, Madeline Green, Michael Deedy, Trevor Deedy, Quinn Deedy, Matthew Deedy and Annika Deedy. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
