She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Michael J. Rizzo II of Winthrop; her daughters, Isabella Rizzo of Chelsea and Holly Hannon (Steven Schnelwar) of Somerville; her parents, Joan Hannon and John Hannon; and her siblings, Jan and Diana. She was also cherished by her family, friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ruggiero Family Memorial (971 Saratoga St, Boston, MA 02128). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Michael the Archangel Parish (320 Winthrop St, Winthrop, MA 02152). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Winthrop Cemetery - Belle Isle.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, an organization close to Suzette's heart.
