She was predeceased by: her parent Drs. She is survived by: her husband Stephen M. Babcock; her children, Brian J. Babcock (Dyan) of Winthrop, Brittany A. Wigdor (Ryan) of Wilmington and Janelle M. Babcock of South Boston; her grandchildren, Catherine, Gregory Babcock and Riley Wigdor; and her siblings, Gerald F. McAvoy (Terry) of Delmar, NY, Roger F. McAvoy of Danvers, John W. McAvoy (Laurie) of Milton, VT and Carolyn M. Fiore (Tom) of Lexington. She is also survived by several in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends.

She was a wonderful nurse, but more importantly, a wonderful human being, with a strong work ethic and a wicked sense of humor which she carried throughout her professional life, to the amusement and benefit of her family, friends, and patients.
