She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Kane (McDonald) and Michael P. Kane; her sibling Francis Kane; and her grandson Timothy. She is survived by: her children, Donna Hanson of Winthrop, Diane Hanson of Hamilton, Paul Hanson (Nancy) of Medford, Peter Hanson (Linda) of Melrose, Elaine Wamboldt (Steven) of Wilmington, Joanne Zimski (Ed) of Palm City, Anne Marie Hanson of Fort Lauderdale and Denice Cotten (Michael) of Durham; her siblings, Patrick Kane, Bernadette Small, Rita Small, Mary Coolen and Dottie Lawless; and her grandchildren, Steven, Meaghan, Peter of Paul, CJ, Jessica, Kristina, Erica, Kyle, Karina, Emily and Bridget. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
