It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Cannata of Winthrop, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Domenica Falzarano and Sabatino Falzarano; her husband Philip J. Cannata; and her siblings, Angelo Falzarano, Ralph Falzarano, Lawrence Falzarano, Josephine DiNublia, Mary Mulcahy, Elena Falzarano, Frank Falzarano, Helen Bell and Assunta Dioguardi.
She is survived by: her sons, John P. Cannata (Deborah) of Peabody and Philip C. Cannata (Marcio Correia) of Florida; her grandson Matthew J. Cannata; and her niece Betty Marotta.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ernest P. Caggiano & Son Funeral Home (147 Winthrop St, Winthrop, MA 02152). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (320 Winthrop St, Winthrop, MA 02152). A burial will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at the Belle Isle Section Winthrop Cemetery (100 Kennedy Rd, Winthrop, MA 02152).
