It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Rose (Giovino) Pettito of Winthrop, Massachusetts, born in Stoneham, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 26, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Giovino and Lillian Giovino (Duarte); and her sister Ella Alfano (late Louis F. Alfano). She is survived by: her sister Judy; her son James D. Pettito (Melissa Reid); her siblings, Dr. Joseph J. Giovino (Barbara) of Stoneham, Judith A. Giovino of Delray Beach, FL and Diane F. Bena (late John) of Stoneham; and her nieces and nephews, Susan, Frank, Betsy, Louis, David and Mary.
Due to Covid 19 visitation, Funeral Mass and burial will be private.
