He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Briana (DeLuca) and Thomas Briana; his wife Norma M. (DeStefano); his daughter Stephanie Briana; and his siblings, Thomas Briana, John Briana, Frank Briana, Theresa Trappasso and Catherine Merchant.
He is survived by: his children, Joanne Jackmauh (Paul) of Winthrop, Richard W. Briana, Jr. (Renee Richards) of Revere and Mark Briana (Wendy) of Burlington; his grandchildren, Paul Anthony, Brittany, Rachel, Tayla and Richard, III; and his great grandchild Alice.
