He was predeceased by: his spouse Jean M. O'Connor (Melody); and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Gorham. He is survived by: his children, Rev. Chris O'Connor, Erin (Scott Vadala) of Stoughton and Jonathan O'Connor of North Quincy; his sisters, Maureen (Bob Blazuk) of Marshfield and Evelyn (David Pearson) of Holbrook; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Melody of Dorchester, Mary Melody of Florida, Barbara Melody of Colorado, Brian Melody and Phillip Melody. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
