He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Petrina Pergola (Salvaggio) and Phillip Pergola; his wife Kathleen (Buonopane); his children, Joseph Pergola of Winthrop and Donna Botte (Ernie) of Wilmington; his sister Nina Giacchino; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Nicole and Erin.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ernest P. Caggiano & Son Funeral Home (147 Winthrop St, Winthrop, MA 02152). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (320 Winthrop St, Winthrop, MA 02152). A burial was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (175 Broadway, Malden, MA 02148).
