He was predeceased by: his parents, Francesca Costanzo (Arrigo) and Giovanni Costanzo; and his siblings, Leo Costanzo and Orazio "Ray" Costanzo. He is survived by: his children, Francine Pappas Mariano (Richard) of Danville, Maria DelPapa (Joseph) of Danville, John Costanzo of Winthrop, Debra Crescente (Anthony) of Medford and Joseph Costanzo, Jr. (Lisa) of Revere; his grandchildren, Sean Pappas (Nanci) of Peabody, Alaina Pappas (Eric Barrows) of Orlando, Joseph DiRocco (Cassidy) of Saugus, Anthony Crescente (Samantha) of Wakefield, Christopher Costanzo and Darren Costanzo of Revere; and his great grandchildren, Bradley Pappas, Joshua Pappas, Matthew Pappas and Luca DiRocco.
