With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Joseph Slowey of Winthrop, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James left this world on December 17, 2024 at the age of 64, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James P. Slowey and Barbara Slowey (Connolly); his children, Alexis B. Slowey of East Boston and Lynn; his sisters, Ann Marie Dixon of Chelsea, Barbara Ann "Barbie" Cashman (Dennis Paul Cashman) of Port Charlotte, FL. and Donna Marie (Dennis Nesmith) of Malden; and his nephews, Christopher G., Matthew J. and Michael J. Cashman. He was also cherished by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ruggiero Family Memorial (971 Saratoga St, Boston, MA 02128). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Parish (320 Winthrop St, Winthrop, MA 02152).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jimmy's name to the Immaculate Conception School, 127 Winthrop Ave., Revere, MA 02151.
