He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. Sr. Bakos and Aphrodite Bakos (Chrisafideis); and his sibling Christos G. Bakos. He is survived by: his wife Amanda Bakos (Triant); his children, Georgiana Rose "Gia" of Winthrop and Zoe Fotini of Winthrop; his siblings, John Bakos and Frances Frangos; his nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Brianna, Alexandra Frangos, Chase, Callie and Christian Triant; his parents-in-law, George and Janet Triant (Fabiano); and his siblings-in-law, Thomas Frangos, Michael and Melissa Triant. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In accordance with the family's wishes, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in George's name to the Salesians Boys and Girls Club Pasta Dinner, 150 Byron Street, Boston, MA 02128.
