With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Sofia Jr. (Winthrop, Massachusetts), born in Chelsea, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 18, 2018 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sibling Linda Sica; and his godchild Melissa Sica. He is survived by: his spouse Charlotte (Barton); his children, Lisa Pelonzi (Michael) of Danvers, Susan Sofia-McIntire (Michael) of Newburyport and Mark Sofia (Diane) of Merrimac; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Benjamin, Erica, Reid, Anthony and Sorell; his sibling Robert John Sofia Sr. of Winthrop; his godchild Robert John Sofia Jr.; and his friend Robert "Rocky" Quinn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
