He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Hayes (MacDonald) and Ronald Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Diane G. "Dede" (Nugent); his children, Matthew Hayes (Tara) of Salem, Christine Goldstein (Nate) of Wakefield and Joseph Hayes (Ashley) of Danvers; his brothers, Ronald Hayes (late Michele) of Winthrop and Brian Hayes (Terri) of Melrose; and his grandchildren, Rocco, Josie, Geoffrey and Brooklyn. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
