It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debra Mae Richard in Winthrop, Massachusetts, born in Malden, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Richard and Lenora Richard (Bradley); her husband Joseph C. Melanson; and her siblings, Lorraine Keenan, Mark Richard, Thomas Richard and Marcella Richard Araujo.
She is survived by: her children, Lenora Dever (Paul) of Wilmington, Jennifer Melanson of Malden and Scott Croscup Jr. (Sheila) of Abington; her grandsons, Adam Dever, Luke Dever, Aidan Labillois and Jeffery Buckley; her siblings, Jean (Phil Johnson) of Sandwich and Daniel Richard (Diane Hatfield); and her close friend Michael Behen. She is also survived by other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and dearest friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
