He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Paulette A. O'Brien (Sirois); his parents, Margaret (Hynes) and David L. O'Brien Sr. David; his children, David L. O'Brien III, Christopher J. O'Brien (Kristen) of Reading, Matthew P. O'Brien (Lisa) of Topsfield, Paul M. O'Brien (Elizabeth) of Winthrop, Meghan E. Verdaguer (Alejandro) of Winthrop and Mark A. O'Brien (Allison) of Braintree; and his siblings, Mary O'Brien of Winthrop, Frank O'Brien (Lorraine) of Mashpee and Alice Helm (John). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
