He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sr. Briggs and Agnes Briggs; his wife June Evans; and his daughter Susan. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Smith (Les Bruce), Joan (Clark Wamsley), John (Sue Ellen Briggs) and Ruth (John Riedeman); his grandchildren, Kimberley Schultz, Pamela Bruce, Matthew Haldane, Robert Howard, Ryan Howard, Jocelyn Howard, Priscilla Briggs, Nicholas Briggs, Rosamond Riedeman and Charlotte Riedeman; and his great grandchildren, Mason, Elizabeth, Gregory, Naomie and Jesse.
Services will conclude with the interment in the Cross Street section of Winthrop Cemetery. *Attendees must observe social distancing and wear masks in the funeral home*.
