It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Amy Gallagher of Winthrop, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 30, 2020, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, William J. Gallagher and Mary T. Gallagher (McGillycuddy); her siblings, Judith M. Teixeira (Timothy), Katherine B. Hubert (Daniel), Ellen M. Baxter (Mark) and James P. Gallagher (Mary Beth Hetherton); her nieces and nephews, Mark (Rachel), James (Baxter), Katherine, Mary, Patrick (Teixeira), Bobby (Hubert), Jaclyn (Erik), Billy and Carolyn (Hetherton); her uncle Walter Mahoney; and her aunt Eileen McGillicuddy. She is also survived by her extended family and countless close friends.
Her many activities included helping run the Winthrop Food Pantry during the pandemic, uniting the town in its time of need, cooking, crafting and celebrating all of the holidays with family and friends.
