Joseph Regan wrote a sympathy message

“To the Colella Family, please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of a GREAT man, CPT Paul Colella. I enrolled in the AHAC in the later part of the 2011-2012 Command year. Paul took Command in 2012 and was my first real Captain Commanding, and he immediately made me feel not only welcome, but important in the general scheme of things. This acceptance by him definitely weighed heavily on my decision to apply for the open position of Executive Secretary for the Company. Forever grateful!”

Harry Gillogly wrote a sympathy message

“The Ancient and Honorable TSAR Sergeants sorely miss the most generous, boisterou and commanding Captains we could have hoped for during our tour. Paul planned and led us into Moscow and St Petersburg with a joy and generosity that made the trip(s) one the most significant events of our lives. We pray for his soul to rise to the heights he deserves while he lived. As a former US Marine and Ancient Leader, he was a great ambassador for the Ancients, Boston, Massachusetts and United States.”

“Morning is coming. The dark night sky is turning gray, The portent of approaching day. Birds waking in the trees. But today there is one less song. Yet his melody lingers on. Our song is in the memories That linger in the hearts and echo in the minds Of those we love and leave behind. Remember me. For though my heart is still and I am gone It is in your loving heart that I live on. NFB I will remember his kindness to me.”
