With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marie (Frotten) Began of Winchester, Massachusetts, born in Woburn, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 5, 2024. She was predeceased by: her former husband Charles D. Began; her parents, Peter Frotten and Mary Frotten (Quail); and her siblings, Carol Kerrigan and Shirley Hall.
She is survived by: her children, Jeannine Love (Edward "Fuzzy" DiFini), Mary Ellen "Mim" Quine (Robert), Charles D. Began Jr. of Winchester and Kathleen Street (William) of Woburn; her husband Cole Smith; her great grandchildren, Dominic, Aurora, Everly, Logan, Olivia and Peyton; and her siblings, Peter J. Frotten, Jr. (Colette) of Tewksbury and Gail Burke of Woburn. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
