He was predeceased by: his wife Charlotte Chute (O'Connor); his parents, Mary G. Chute (Nickerson) and James Chute; and his sister Dorothy Gilbert of Melrose. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl A. Meaney of New Bedford, James L. Chute (Christine) of Woburn, Kristen L. Chute of East Boston, Charles F. Chute (Andrea) of Woburn and Elizabeth M. Fishlin of Woburn; his grandchildren, Paul, Max Meaney, Kyle, Cameron Chute, Connor, Delaney, Gavin Chute, Charlotte, Alexander and Caitlin Fishlin; and his siblings, Carol Schrock (Jerry) of Hamilton and James E. Chute of Winchester.
