He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Racek and Susanna Racek (Hornak). He is survived by: his spouse Gretchen Racek (Garthe); and his children, Scott Racek (Kathleen) of Springfield, VA, Jonathan Racek (Catherine) of Bloomington, IN and Kristina Pechulis (Kevin) of Melrose. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
