Robert R. LaFortune Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert R. LaFortune of Winchendon, Massachusetts, born in Gardner, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 16, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Robert had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Robert may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He is survived by: his wife Britta Ekelund; his children, Beth (Mark) and Kai (Jane); his grandchildren, Alexandra, Matilda, Helen, Augustus and Linnea; and his brother Michael (Barbara).
