He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton E. Hanks and Iris M. Hanks (Gyles); and his brother Calvin E. Hanks. He is survived by: his child Keri; his grandchildren, Rylie, Noah, Jackson and Layla; his siblings, Clayton E. Hanks Jr. (Judy), Susan Stockwell (Robert) and Roger E. Hanks (Sandra); and his pet Emmie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
