He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian A. (Brow); his children, Keith R. Clapp and Lynn A. Clapp; his brothers, Kenneth Clapp (Normandy) and Gerald Clapp; and his parents, Frederick Clapp and Pheobe Clapp (Mawhinne).
He is survived by: his grandsons, Tyler Macarelli, Brock Macarelli, Nathan Macarelli, Nicholas Macarelli and Nicholas Kiedaisch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
