He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Monette and Hazel Monette (Nason); and his siblings, Howard, Robert, Eleanor (Nadeau), Lawrence and Richard Monette.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Monette (Blake); his daughters, Gina Monette-Smith, Julie Monette-Johnson and Briana Monette-Harris; his grandchildren, Alexis Monette, Raven Monette, Ricki Monette, Bria Monette-Harris, Sabrina Monette-Harris and Frederick Monette-Harris; and his brother Norman Monette. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
