We bid farewell to Eleanor J. Thoms (Winchendon, Massachusetts), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 29, 2024 at the age of 89. Eleanor touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schildknecht and Gertrude Schildknecht; her husband Walter Thoms; her grandson Justin Partain; her sister Rita Willour; and her brothers-in-law, William Willour and William Thoms.

She is survived by: her children, Walt Thoms (Bob Hotz) and Eileen Thoms; her great grandchildren, Christian and Maxx Partain; and her brother Bill Schildknecht (Mary).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (52 Spruce St, Winchendon, MA 01475). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (111 Glenallen St, Winchendon, MA 01475).

Her contributions to her church and community were invaluable.
