It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor E. LaFontaine of Winchendon, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roell Viner and Viola Viner (Rousseau); her husband Francis R. LaFontaine; her sister Dorothy Lampert; and her son-in-law William Klockars.
She is survived by: her children, June E. Klockars of Winchendon and Ray A. LaFontaine (Kathleen) of Fitzwilliam, NH; her grandchildren, Kim LaPointe, Lisa Klockars, Lance and Eric LaFontaine; and her great grandchildren, Tyler Klockars and Ellayna LaPointe. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc. (110 Nichols St, Gardner, MA 01440). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
