He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Brown and Martha Brown (Key). He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Brown (Bryant); his children, Charles E. Brown Jr., Jennifer Sweigart (Stevie) of Roseland, VA, Jessica Brown (Chad Mccrory) of Crimora, VA, Derrick Brown of Winchendon, Alexyss Brown of Winchendon, Kyle Brown of Winchendon and Kylieann Brown of Winchendon; and his siblings, David Brown, Herbert Brown and Rebecca Brown. He is also survived by six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
