Holmes, Jr. (Wilma) of Nashua, NH, Charles E. Holmes (Victoria) of Wilmington, Penny L. Holmes of Leominster and Cherryl M. Coppola of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Robert E. Holmes, III (Laura), Tina Lisa (Peter), Paul Holmes (Melissa), James Holmes, Tanya Thrasher (Daniel), C. J. Holmes, Katherine LaBombard (Will), Jeannette Varga, John Coppola (Laura), Joseph Coppola, Anthony Coppola (Amy) and Amanda Holmes; his great grandchildren, Kendra, Cassandra, Jenifer, Gracie, Robert IV, Matthew, Kayleigh, Lyndon, Ethan, Neil, Curie, Nathan, Olivia, Cora, Jocelyn, Julia, John and Nicholas; and his brothers, Kenneth Holmes and Stephen Holmes (Susan) of Harvard. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
