She was predeceased by: her parents, James Herra and Nancy Herra (Marchetti); her uncle Carl Marchetti of Barnstable; and her father-in-law Eugene LeBlanc of Wilmington. She is survived by: her close friend Derek LeBlanc; her husband Derek LeBlanc; her children, Ryan of Wilmington, Adam of Wilmington and Alexis LeBlanc of Wilmington; her siblings, Janice Medeiros (Josh) of Cumberland, RI, Paul Herra (Virginia) of Fitchburg and Ed DeSciscio (Kim) of Middleboro; her aunt Maureen; her uncle Jim Heath of Medford; her mother-in-law Dianne; and her siblings-in-law, Eugene Jr. of Wilmington, Eileen LeBlanc of Wilmington, Darren of Wilmington, Karolyn LeBlanc of Wilmington and Amy Zaccagnini (Lenny) of Billerica. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Julie worked tirelessly in the ICU unit at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge for many years; she was amazing at her job and when the Covid pandemic hit she put her fears aside and jumped into action to give her patients in ICU the best care possible.
