He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen J. Malfa and Anna C. Malfa (Benner); and his wife Roberta Malfa (Clary). He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Michelle; his children, Joseph S. Malfa, Jr. (Michelle) of Wilmington, Erica Malfa and Stephen Malfa; and his siblings, Beverly Masone of Tewksbury, Sandra Morse of Wilmington and Stephen Malfa, Jr. (Paula) of Tewksbury. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
