He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lunetta and Antonina Lunetta (Cannizzaro); his wife Mary R. Lunetta (Cavaretta); and his siblings, Carmella Arzilli (late Burt) and Waldo Lunetta (Anna).
He is survived by: his former wife Mary Rose Cavaretta; his children, Linda Bandoni (Jack) of Gloucester, Joseph Lunetta (Cathy) of Derry, NH and Richard Lunetta (Shirley) of Burlington; and his sister Frances MacGilvray (late Harold) of Medford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nichols Funeral Home (187 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA 01887). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas of Villanova Church (126 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA 01887). A burial was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Wildwood Cemetery (233 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA 01887).
