He was predeceased by: his spouse Frances Cannata (Catalano); his parent Frank J.; and his grandchild Rene Cannata. He is survived by: his parent Vincenza Cannata (Restivo); his child Joseph F. Cannata Jr.; his wife Laurie of Hudson, NH; his grandchildren, Julie Collura of Joseph Cannata, Holly Gallacher, Nicholas, Colby, Brittani, Michael, Sophia, Jessica, Stephanie and Steven Cannata Jr.; and also, Frank J. Cannata (Danielle) of Littleton and Steven J. Cannata (Denise) of Wilmington.
It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Joseph's memory to the Massachusetts Disabled American Veterans, State House, Room 546, Boston, MA 02133.
